Solar and Wind Renewable Green Energy

Question: Does Solar Energy work in Washington?
Answer: YES IT DOES!!

Going "Green" with solar is easier and more affordable than you think.

  • Help protect the environment and produce "green" renewable energy.
  • Reduce electric bills
  • Produce sustainable green energy
  • Increase the value of your home
  • Avoid increases in utility rates (averaging 13% per year)

Consider installing solar to offset your utility costs and put money in your pocket by selling back kilowatts to the utility companies!

Incentives are currently in place:

  • from utility companies up to $10,000 for commercial and $2,500 for residential applications
  • from the Federal Government up to 30% tax credit
  • Same as Cash Financing
  • low interest loans to purchase and install equipment
  • lease to own options

Solar Hot Water Collectors

Either solar hot water flat-plate collectors or evacuated tube systems are available for hot water heating. They offer an inexpensive to a huge energy burning hot water heating system.

Solar hot water flat plate collectors are popular and cost effective. An plate inside a box gathers solar heat and transfers it to copper tubing.

Evacuated tube systems are a newer addition to the solar water heater market, use less surface area and have the advantage of maintaining heat longer than the plate.

Wind Energy Systems

Technology is changing constantly for wind energy systems. Newer, quieter, more efficient Energy Balls are available for home and commercial applications.

If you have a constant wind, with little or no obstruction, Wind power can be a great alternative energy source.

You can still sell back to utility companies, but the incentives are not as common as for solar energy.
